In the morning Stephen will be speaking on ‘What is the Gospel?’ This morning service is a Baptism service for Mike Western. Please join us for Fellowship lunch after the service.
In the evening Stephen will be preaching with the series title ‘God in the Chaos’ with this week’s theme being ‘Abimeleck’. The passage for the service is Judges 9.

Is a Prayer meeting week.
It is also the school half term, as usual our midweek youth and children’s and youth activities: Toddlers, Youth@STBC and Friday club, will be taking a break.Thursday Drop-in is on as usual.

Come and enjoy a Men’s Breakfast along with a target shooting experience for those who want to try their hand.
Venue: Shalom, Nadderwater, Exeter, Devon, EX4 2JH
Date: 30th May 2026
Time: 9:30 onwardsThere will be an invitation to make a financial contribution which will go towards Sam and Kele’s missionary work in Japan. Food and shooting expenses will be covered and so all money received will go to this cause.
Professional safety and shooting tuition will be given and hearing/eye protection will be available at the range. Appropriate insurance is in place.
To assist in catering, please let Jerry know if you want to attend.

Following the early morning prayer meeting on Saturday June 6th we will be holding our first STBC Book Club. We will be meeting and discussing Mere Christianity by CS Lewis and Simon Wills who is running the group says there is no need to finish the whole book before then ! Please speak to Simon for more details

If anyone is feeling called towards being baptised, or you would like to know more about baptism please speak to Phil or Stephen. We will be having another baptismal service at on the 24th May.

As you may be aware all those who have been DBS checked need to have Level 2 Safeguarding Training.
A Level 2 training session has been arranged for Thursday 2nd July 2026 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Wendy McKenna will be contacting those whose records show they need to attend this training or you may contact her on wendymckenna77@yahoo.com.
